Us Christians who where just called nut cases totally agree (or atleast me) agree with Ben that we wanted Jerusalem to be recognized as the capital because it was the birth place of the predecessor to our religion and is a very holy site. but its all because I'm a crazy Christian from alabama who is conservative for my moral and religious values.

Asking out on dates != Preying.

Franken screwed this up. By saying he's resigning, but not guilty, Trump and Moore can just say "I'm not resigning, because I'm not guilty." As long as you're not guilty there's no moral ground to yield. You either get to take the men at the word for these cases that will never be tried, or you don't.

Best outcome for the Republicans is for Moore to win, and then they boot him out of the senate. The Democrats will have to vote to boot him out too, or look like they're in favor of a molester. At that point, the Republican Governor names another Republican to fill the vacant seat until they do another special election where another Republican wins. That's probably why the RNC is supporting him now.

As an atheist, it just makes sense that Jerusalem is Israel's capital.

Hey ben, you grabbed my penis in the bathroom at a walmart 5 years ago. Now you've officially been accused, I expect you to retire from public life tommorow.

Ron Homolka · December 8, 2017 at 1:36 pm

Franken shows us he's still in denial, my actions have been misconstrued and what about them won't get you sympathy.

Andrew Craner · December 8, 2017 at 1:36 pm

Ben Shapiro's ideas of a better country are interesting, but he loses the argument as it is just his opinion. For another opinion, read (or listen to on Audible) "Folks, This Ain't Normal", by Joel Salatin.

patrick beishir · December 8, 2017 at 1:36 pm

I believe Ben completely missed the point on things being better or worse than 50 years ago. Sure we have luxuries that 50 years ago were an idea in a sci-fi novel but things moved slower then. We knew our neighbors, we looked out for one another, people gave a damn about what was going on around them as opposed to me me me. Things were generally simpler. Today people run around. Gotta go here, gotta go there…. Take time to smell the roses people. Remember it's not the destination. It's the journey.

After watching the full speech It does seem like you're twisting Fraken's words a little bit. Maybe due to the narrative you're trying to convey.

I am so tired of high horse Shapiro. Al Franken is getting honey dicked into resigning, none of these women have a right to be believed simply because of their gender, none of these men are without sin, nor are they to be unquestionably tossed from their current position simply bc someone produced a picture of him smiling and mock playing “tune into Tokyo.” Or that a 40 year old yearbook was dusted off from the attic, signed with his future title, dated and geo located into a restaurant, in the December after it was issued, with 2 different inks. John Conyers had his accuser take immediate action, corroborated by several signed affidavits, his goose is cooked. We can’t go around shooting everyone in the dick that has a woman crying over a story from 20 to 40 years ago Ben get over yourself. I know you are smarter and more pious than everyone in the World, but you’re losing me brother.

Maybe Republicans are cynically dismissing all allegations and Democrats are cynically accepting all allegations… or, maybe:
(1) There are some semi-offensive acts that are proven and some very offensive acts that are unproven.
(2) By the old standards, semi-offensive acts should be forgiven and we should hold off on judgment of unproven acts. Republicans are subscribing to the old standards.
(3) By the new standards, any kind of offensive act should be denounced and any allegation is pretty well a conviction when it comes to sexual assault and rape.
(4) Ben subscribes to the new standards and doesn't understand people who subscribe to the old standards. He makes up some nonsense about how good the Roy Moore claims are even though they wouldn't survive 2 mins in a court room.

All politics aside, President Trump did the right thing as far as Israel goes. Any reasonable person can look at the two groups and see who is the aggressor/oppressor. Israel isn't being given anything. It was already theirs. Now and forever. What Trump did was good for the U.S. and those of us who were beyond worried about being part of a country that wouldn't fully get on the side of Israel. Believe me people….. Wether we believe in the same God or not, you don't want to be an enemy to Israel. That's the closet thing to cursed as you could get in this world. Being anti Israel is not smart. Thank God for Trump.

Stay safe out there. As much as I dislike Californian culture, nobody deserves to be burned out of their homes and businesses by wildfires.

The reason we were better off 50 years ago is one church was a larger part of everyone's life and 2 we still knew what reality and truth was!

If it takes political motivations to get politicians to act morally, I'll take it.

BlacksmithHolt · December 8, 2017 at 1:36 pm

the moral high ground died years ago when the voters continue to vote for the lesser of 2 EVILS, in the end you still vote for EVIL.

CM99501 · December 8, 2017 at 1:36 pm

I love Ben, but the only thing i disagree about is that i think Moore is innocent. 1. its a 40 year old charge, 2. hes been a judge for years and years with no one coming out, 3. notice how the women came out RIGHT when he won the primary. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
