This isn’t funny. Trump’s behavior isn’t something to joke about by the Speaker of the House. All he did was give the game away, that he knows how ridiculous this administration is and how stupid they all sound defending it. Again, do not normalize this.

Very mellow night Paul Ryan. You never came across that way to me. I think that kind of attitude suites you best. Really for the first time I was able to say Paul Ryan can be a really nice guy.

Maria Angela Gallina · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Wow amazing… It takes the Al Smith dinner for you to be honest about how you really feel about that raging lunatic in the White House through your jokes?? It’s mind bottling! I feel like I’m in twilight zone! And who would’ve guessed that you even have a sense of humar! Smh 😒

Britta Glappa von Kannen · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

I am astonished. He was actually really funny! Never would have thought he had it in him. Though I doubt Mango Trumpulini will see the humor of this roast.

Kathleen Donovan · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Paul Ryan can make jokes at the expense of Donald Trump and it’sok, but when SNL does it or it’s done at the annual White House Corrospondants Dinner it’s offensive? Isn’t that hypocritical?

Dennis Scott · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Ryan is all smiles. He got his agenda by backing a scumbag swindler with the moral values of a swindler and a sexual predator. Mr. Morality,,, and the jokes about Russia serve the future of Democracy so well. No wonder he steals from the poor to give to the rich. POS tool.

Trudy Stevens · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

As many others have said, I enjoyed Ryan in the snippets shown. He came across as a nice guy with a really good sense of humor. I never thought of him this way. I may have to start to like him … a little.

Gillian Mcintyre · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

I don’t see anything wrong with a little laughter… I just hope that people will step it up a few notches and get rid of our country’s biggest embarrassment and threat… Bring Trump down from office.. he isn’t fit nor does he love this country .. or our people ..Republicans and Democrats please unite… How can a president divide the people then expect to govern them…. Get rid of this foolish racist hateful and dishonest creature

Sandra Monica · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

So, I guess joking about Trump’s behavior is what we have to resort to for next 4 years to make it bearable??? 😒💀 I did chuckle at a couple of those though… lmfao 🙄🤐🤠🤡 Gilberto Hernandez

Carolyn Ann Kinch · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Wonderful..Now Trump can turn his attention to attacking Ryan..which can only be entertaining .. Better diversion for him than Fox ‘News’ & stirring divisive energy whenever possible..

Jeanie Mosley · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Cryin Ryan is about as funny in the WH as out, not impressed, don’t keep your day job and find another night job, you just suck , the end!

Kelly Purcell · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Hollywood republican, which is an oxymoron… Like Ronald Reagan or the idiotic leader of your party, Don the Con.

Linda Blackwell · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

I find this man so repulsive. Hopefully he’ll be out of office soon. He’s been found to have taken dirty money.

Luther Oliver · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

This is another idiot and if the people that elected this idiot don’t vote him out it just shows how ridiculous the Republican party is.

Christine L Dubose · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Do you think as many people were upset when the fireside chats started by radio? Probably, it was different. Perhaps the President at the time wanted to speak directly to the citizens that vote instead of the press speaking for him. Not sure I can find any news source that continuously expects, demands , exploits President Trumps shortcomings while hiding those in Hollywood very disturbing. Totally understand the tweets as a new way to speak to the voters. Mr. Ryan and the rest of the antiquated GOP, need to do a job and work to fix messes instead of using the President as an excuse to do nothing to better America. President Obama and now President Trump, although different in views, both demonstrated how stagnant the legislative branch of the government is. Too much politics and too little working together for what’s best for American citizens. The best ideas are likely a combination of the extremes vs all or nothing.

Lea Matlock · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Only you would think that’s funny .. Your as dumb as the rest of them .. REPUBLICANS Died in 2017 and never to be seen AGAIN ..

Joe Cobb · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

If it weren’t for the fact that he lies for a living to pay off his sponsors and enjoys torturing animals, he would be a half decent guy…

Amy Watkins · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Yes a room full of Wall Street CEOs.

I remember when the country use to belong to the people.

And Trump & Ryan and Gang really have the best interest of the people in mind as they snuggle and swim in the Swamp of Greed.

Holly Gillison · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

I think at this point it’s very frustrating because I don’t think anybody knows really had to deal with our president

Andrew Johnson · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

You’re not a comedian… you’re the Speaker of the House… I can’t wait for the White House Correspondents Dinner… Trump won’t be able to deliver jokes that he didn’t write

Jim Shoemaker · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

Hypocrite republican, he would have chastised Obama or Hillary if she won election, yet he just kisses up to the moron in office.

Bill Sutton · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am

zero respect for this little boy….. he thinks he IS the “BETTER WAY” and will never represent anyone but himself

Linda Smith · November 1, 2017 at 11:41 am
