Sandra Nelson · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

And there's this; Donny is a known, serial liar. He can't tell the truth to save his life. It's as natural as breathing for him. He constructs his own reality and tries to force the real world to follow his fantasies. Um…isn't there medication for that?

Sandra Nelson · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

I'm Canadian, and I'm a bit hazy on some of the rules in the states. Am I wrong in assuming that the President has no right to tell the FBI who they can or can't pursue? Isn't the Executive branch separate from the Judiciary? Isn't that covered in the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights? Oh. Wait. Donny hasn't looked at the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Hmmm. That could be a problem folks.

MooseGoose · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Whydya gotta drag Meatloaf into this?

AZOffRoadster · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Ugh!!! Hay, MSNBC. Purge yourselves of a Chris Hayes type fallacy and save yourselves from a $30k/day liability.
Yeah, the numbers inform me that reality isn't your highest priority. I guess that''s why nobody trusts you.
Even in the age of Faux.

AZOffRoadster · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

… Now it's all over Danny Bailey…
and the harvest is in.
Dillinger's dead… (woah waoah woah)
I guess the cops won again…

Not a big fan of Elton… but premonition…

pkunkbwok · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

clearly this is karma for firing Meat Loaf

christopher unfus · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

It was clear from the beginning that Trump obstructed justice.

Donald Swamp · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

DOTARD. The ultimate diss. Complete dotard.

deplorable Dan · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

I have a vision. Lawrence on all 4's with a ring through his nose attached to the chain President Trump has slung over his shoulder. Trump wearing a Twitter Hat with MAGA on it, Lawrence with an msnbc hat, as he is being drug thru the mud, with the same smug look on his face that he always has. The look of conceit and corruption. Most definitely, Trump is doing an awesome job.

Dave Moore · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

What does Trump's wife think of his sexual assault allegations?

Joshua Daigre · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

That moment when you realize Meatloaf would have undoubtedly been a more sane and competent president than Trump.

No Calvinism · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Donnie finally did himself in through all his ignorant jaw jacking flap lip BIG MOUTH! He's is own worst enemy. ALL Narcissists are!

sclogse1 · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Lawrence is sporting some of Rachel's energy here. A resolution will be going forward to block Trump from firing Mueller. And if the republicans don't go for it, then it's time to march. Also, as you may have heard, the use of the word "pled" is not something an experienced attorney would have used. He would have used the term "pleaded". But remember, the republicans are now supporting Roy Moore. Now he has campaign funding. So expect a battle when it finally comes to Don..although they actually need Moore than they do Don.

Tom N. · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

And the end of the day, what worries me most is the Republican leadership and their likelihood to protect DT from impeachment because of what it would for them in the next election.

Michael Shaughnessy · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

It's a funny old world when a news presenter has to use Meatloaf in that context. Only in America though would a Apprentice host become President.

Joe Publico · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Paraphrasing the Buddha, here in the USA…wow.

If the rule of law still holds in the USA then Trump is toast.

Dude said, he robbed the bank cause that's where the money's at. lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tim Smith · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Why pick on Meatloaf?

NeoTheOne · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Fake news. Telling someone NOT to lie to the FBI is NOT obstruction.

bamse1618 · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Donald Trump, is that not the guy who:
1. was recorded on the Hollywood access bus saying that he like to unlawfully grab women by their pu$$y and even admitted it by saying that it was just locker room talk. Now he is denying it again
2. preached that Obama was not an American, then said he was and now says he is not again.
3. promised to drain the swamp and filled it now with toxic waste
4. said that Obama wire tapped his building and later found out that he did not
5. would not play golf if elected, because he will be working too much to have any free time
Well, that is not enough proof for some people who will still believe every word that comes out of this public embarrassment's mouth.

Susan Bodell · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

So are the Republicans.

Julian Vince · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Just whoa! Next thing they'll say Trump was hypnothized during that hotel room pee carnage.

golfdude2007 · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Trump…dumber than a doorknob LOL

freespeech_zone · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

How can you obstruct justice when you haven't been charged with a crime?. No one even knows what the crime is. I should also remind you that collusion is not a crime anyway according to leading constitutional law expert Alan Dershowitz

John Manderson · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

If this tweet was done on Trump’s phone by Dowd, they should have been at the same place at the same time. By checking the tweet time stamp versus the cell tower logs of Dowd’s and Trump phone, you can check if this is the case.

mottbone · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

I'm convinced some, if not most people became hard-core Trumpist's because they had some crazy fuk'd-up idea that if he became president, somehow, he was going to make them all 'wealthy' like him.
NOTHING, but NOTHING can ever be further from the truth… but they just won't let go.

mottbone · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Keep tweeting those bigly, tremendously terrific, more sweeter and beautiful than beautiful chocolate cake tweets Trumpy… and tell us more about yourself!

UncommonKnowledge · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The lie that Flynn told was essentially about a meeting he had with a Russian ambassador after the election correct? However, the meeting itself wasn't against the law, he was smoothing things over with Russia after all the talk of sanctions during the campaign. That doesn't really seem out of the ordinary. So now Trump obstructed justice by firing Comey during the Flynn investigation even though the only thing Flynn had been doing was lying about these meetings? Why would Flynn lie about the meetings in the first place…? Sounds more like an argument for having an attorney present when being interviewed by the FBI. I suppose the smoking gun would be for Trumps team to be caught making a deal with the Russians where we would remove sanctions if they agreed to hack the DNC right? Even though that hacking uncovered massive corruption within the DNC…

wandering spirit · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Too bad for Democrats that Mueller will NEVER find evidence that Trump conspired, colluded or
coordinated with Russia to influence the 2016 election.
Democrats are coming to the stark realization that Trump will be Commander In Chief for SEVEN
more years. The liberal whining, whimpering and sniveling will sadly continue for 84 more months.

We were robbed in the middle of the night just a few days ago. In front of live cameras. Footage doesn't matter in the Upside Down.

jordanvictoria5 · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

The best lawyers turned Trump down because he doesn't pay people.

BluePittsley · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Trump has shown to the world that it is possible for the highest officer of this land to presume that the law applies only to those he decides it should (most definitely not himself or his family), but he is being systematically disabused of that notion. For the rest of us (including those sorry members of Congress who have let him run amok and act the fool for so long) the cleanup work remains. But let's hope that this apprentice experiment is shut down while there's still a shred of decency left in our democracy.

Alexis Grunden · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

♫♪ It's beginning to look a lot like Crhistmas~♪♫ Trump & Co. being brought down is all I want under the tree this year, and Mueller is our Santa.

Jitka Soliman · December 8, 2017 at 10:49 am

Nobody believes that the lawyer wrote the tweet. Trump is a pathological liar who obviously can't remember what he had said the day before.
