Who knew being a decent human could make someone likable?

pm_me_your_ratchets · November 1, 2017 at 11:39 am

Not shocking considering the current state of America. This guy has stuck to his message for 30 years, middle class and poor people are getting screwed left and right by all parties

An honest, caring Senator is popular. One who has and continues to be engaged and inspirational to millions of young people and others alike. Sounds right to me.

People complaining about this poll only being for home-state, here is his polling nationally going back to forever…

If you can find someone with higher favorable ratings in the last 12 months I’ll buy you a Coke.

Omg a senator who does things to benefit his constituents and actually cares about them is popular?

And here I thought the Republican model of lying to your constituents while you sell them out to corporate interests was the way to go.

strange.

That’s probably because Vermont is full of sexist misogynists who have never voted before. Also, why would anyone support someone who proposes big, challenging ideas? The proper thing to do is start by negotiating in the middle. /s

Good, he can destroy Trump come 2020 with all this popularity. It amazes me how he’s still relatively popular among Independents despite getting a good amount of public attention lately. That’s something that’s pretty hard to pull off for someone in a widely hated Congress.

Every Bernie thread is a shitshow.

He made a bunch of promises, never had to face the reality of failing to get them done due to a hostile Congress, and never got the Russian fake news gun aimed at him. His popularity is obvious and irrelevant.

Is it just me or is his BS the same populist unifocal BS as Trump? MAGA but fuck the banks and Wall Street we can MAGA with good old government money and idealism?

Bernie’s great for moving the progressive discussion forward and as a poster boy for their liberal wing of the Democratic Party’s agenda but his real failing is to see the US as a global leader or even to see beyond his agenda of taking down big banks

ignore_my_bullshit · November 1, 2017 at 11:39 am

So let him stay a popular senator. He’s not president material.

MichaelAmbrosi · November 1, 2017 at 11:39 am

This trend of bagging on Sanders is giving me life. All these same blowhards are the ones complaining about unity. Have some decency you trolls and just accept you can’t win. The more you blame Sanders, the funnier it gets. Cue the angry comments
