Oh well , your brother knew what he signed up for. But I guess it still hurts . Who cares about your losses.

Mark Edward · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Fred … the same brother whose children Donald Trump cut out of his father’s will and whose grandchild’s medical care was cut by Trump. What empathy!

Julie A. Thompson · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

I wish you did drink or used drugs, at least that would explain all of the absolutely horrific things you say and do!

Amber Hall · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Emily Ortiz That’s ya president, talking about drinking problems at a press conference about opioids. 🙄

Rusty Wood · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

I seriously doubt Trump has never drank or used drugs. Sober people don’t sit up at two AM sending mean tweets to co-workers.

Jaime Angio Steere · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

I wish this guy would drink himself into a coma.

Marilee Ullmann · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

This advise coming from someone who never controls himself! No matter what, some people are predisposed to addictions, funds are need to treat this disease, which this MORON has cut!

Diane Stewart Strodel · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

So your cutting all the funding? How are you really going to help? Don’t think so… garbage. This man is garbage.

Kathleen Tallarita-Lombardi · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

If your brother really had an issue with alcohol…I am sorry, it is a horrible addiction. But on a lighter note, I wish he said, shut up donald, shut up!

Beulah Anderson · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Wow….so much hate….he did a good job and it was from his heart because it was his brother and thank goodness he listened….stop the hate and hear what he is saying

Penny Grensavitch · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

I have a friend that delivered oil to Fred Trump’s buildings back in the day and Fred told my friend that he has a son that’s very smart but an alcoholic another one that doesn’t drink but very dumb…guess who he was talking about? YEP

Jennifer Huston Mondello · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

“I had a guy. He brought the best coke. It was the best coke you’ve ever seen. And when you have coke, you have women. And let me tell you. They’ll let you do anything.”

Candice Lane · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

I am angry that the panel gave trump koodos for his comments on his brother…not that they thought it was good…that they gushed about how great trump was..Wolf says..maybe he should do more of that personal stuff. No…it is way too late…he deserves no praise..for anything. He has treated too many people worse than I have seen in my 64 years. I will stop watching CNN again if they coddle trump while they put Hillary and her campaign down for nothing…again!

Cynthia Corliss Seder · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Some of you people are jerks. He tells his story about his brothers addiction and you criticize. If he said nothing about it you would criticize. What a bunch of sour pussed, hate filled jackasses you are,. Everything you accuse him of being is exactly what you are. Too bad you are so blind you can’t see it, but, no worries, everyone around you can, even your children.

Marge Riley · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

As usual, #self righteous bloated, narcissistic 45 turns the opioid addiction crisis as his own pathetic journey. The proposed #death health care plan will do nothing to help. Just saying no? Really #idiot in chief 45. Until we treat this as a chronic illness, nothing will happen.

Bruce Eppard · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Donald Trump. You really don’t know anything about alcoholism unless you have experienced it yourself & then you would know how it is in being an alcoholic. I have been sober for the past 8 years from being an alcoholic & I alone had to make that decision to stop drinking.

Jean Quilan · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

So why cut medicare, medicaid forvthose with addiction s. You hypocrite. Impeach trump now Americans Vote out gop

James William Rushin · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

The USA has a tremendous drug problem which is far worse than just Opioids. Cocaine, heroin, meth, uppers, downers, alcohol are rampant, and as long as there is a demand someone is going to fill it. We need to start focussing on why so many millions of Americans at all levels of society cannot manage the stress of daily life in the USA without chemical assistance.

Miles Sampson · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

He’s actually on point with this message, even if it’s not worded precisely. You can accomplish a lot more and feel a lot better in the long run without substance (may that be alcohol, cigarettes or drugs) abuse.

Beth Hennessy · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

It is rare when I agree with anything President Trump says, but this is exactly an emergency thing all of us have to deal with. It contributes highly to the homelessness running rampant across the country. I see it almost every day. It has to be dealt with!

Rosemary Stevenson · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Speculation was Trump was sniffing cocaine during the debates with Hillary. I guess so he would have the stamina that he doesn’t seem to have now……except for golfing of course. I think presidential candidates should be drug tested Iike athletes……and their I.Q. and knowledge of world history and current events tested also. Could help keep people like Trump out of the running.

Chester Wheeler · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

The crisis is we have a POTUS that went AWOL and tried to blame the Generals for his bailing on the responsibilities of his Office as Commander and Chief of the Military. This is clearly dereliction of duty in the face of the enemy and make no mistake we are at war. Where was he? Counting his money and playing golf joy riding around on the taxpayers dime.

Russell Sprinkle · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

Now that Becky and Adolph is affected by drugs, now you want to do something! Smh! Where was the government during the crack epidemic that affected black communities? Oh I know, locking them up in jail for 20 Years!!

Thomas Sullivan · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

What’ makes this all the more disturbing is that this maniac IS sober …go figure! Imagine what he’d be like on drugs and alcohol…That speaks a lot to how trully mentally sick he really is.

Chrissy Zappella · November 1, 2017 at 6:18 am

The more taboo alcohol consumption is in a country, the higher the rate of alcoholism. Teach kids to consume alcohol responsibly, with food, in social settings. Maybe alchohol avoidance was good for Trump (and anyone with a genetic predisposition towards alcoholism), but for most people, and certainly culturally, the evidence shows that this is terrible advice.
