I don’t want some cooked up healthcare plan that puts money into the pockets of insurance companies. I want single payer healthcare for all.

Dwayne Bouvia · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

I don’t trust Trump as far as I can throw him and I can’t throw him because he’s too big and fat plus I have broken ribs so I don’t trust him at all.

Jan Remus · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Wait, Medicaid cut, Medicare Cut, selling Insurance across State Lines can already take place, they just file some paper work with Insurance Commissioner in each State. Increase in Premiums and DED. and Co-pays already going sky high for 2 decades. ACA just didn’t go far enough. We are going back in time to handle same old problem. This is not the solution – tried that and it didn’t work.

Erin K Smith · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

That’s a mighty big “IF” your betting on and the one thing I have learned over the years is that politicians have a very good ear, when it comes to “money talking” in the form of political donations; and the Republicans have been doing such for a long time now, which is how we ended up in this “growing field of bull shit” fertilized by Trump and the GoP in 2017! I don’t expect that either Trump, nor the GoP are going to be changing their minds on “healthcare reform” anytime soon or listening to “common sense” as neither one of them have any at all!

Betty Bembry · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

trump is sabotaging insurance companies and the 1% are keeping the stock markets high for their dirty agendas.

Mark Haney · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Get Trump out of office! Then, bills will get passed that make some sense! The longer he stay’s, the more America is falling into a hole that if we continue to let his shenanigans go on, we won’t be able to crawl out of. Sad. How the hell did we let this happen?😥

Bob Hanlon · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Republicans actually have a chance with this bill to do something that helps people – instead of threatening them all the time. Hopefully this will get some traction among the GOPers who know they have a loose cannon in the White House who wants to sabotage everything.

Patty Murray is a bought and paid for Leftist put into Office by the power of Ted Kennedy. She was voted dumbest Senator a few years back. She is a disgrace to Washington State.

Cathy Lynn Fisher · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Sorry Patty, but it’s too late. Elizabeth Warrens take down of the insurance executive finally convinced me that we have to get their profits out of healthcare. Medicare for all. Let insurance people who lose their jobs because of that be hired into the new system, but they won’t be making as much.

Theresa Maria Goudreau · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

As a Canadian I do not pay anything for healthcare. It is covered by my husbands workplace. Before that we payed under $100.00 a month for our family to be covered. 2 adults, 2 children. Our hospital stays are free and our drugs are mostly covered. Its not a perfect system but I think I can say it is better than what you are going through. Our worst part is long waits to see specialists.

Abbe Phillips · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

This past year was the 1st time I had to speak up and call my senators and Congress. Will continue too.

Jack Williams · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Really are you stupid insurance have been going up big time every year since your hero got his way by forcing people to buy insurance they couldn’t afford and fining them when they couldn’t afford it

Carol Hanrahan · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Single payer is the way we should go — like almost all other countries in the world who generally laugh at the US for not doing what they do — and we would certainly enjoy getting on board the health care wagon that all federal employees are enjoying at taxpayer expense. The more money that goes out of the pockets of the Middle Class the less taxes they pay. Someone should give The Swampers a book on economics.

Juston Hart · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

If she were smart, she’d know that she should be dealing with the insurance companies since they dictate every aspect of this. I’m guessing she’s using this to get her name out there considering she is dealing with and blaming the wrong people.

Robert Shuman · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

All trump knows is divide and fall. Attacking the past administration.is not constructive. He is not making anything better for our country, his time would be much better spent on bringing us together not ripping us apart.

Eric Farley · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

The insurance was always supposed to go up. It has nothing to do with states that refused to take the Medicaid expansion. It has everything to do with all the mandates that your policy has to cover. Perfect example is myself. I am a single childless male, yet for me to get a plan it has to cover by mandate women’s and children’s health issues. Again I will never have a woman’s health issue so why should I have to pay extra for a policy that covers them?

Tommy Shaw · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Remember sheand all the democrats voted for Obamacare without even reading or understanding it! Remember when then speaker,Nancy Pelosi, said, “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it”? Remember when then President Obama said,” if you like your health care, you keep your health care. If you like your doctor, you keep your doctor”? Why should we trust anything the democrats say?

Jack Leith · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Trump has not sabotaged our healthcare, the problem is ACA, how it was jammed through and how it was never intended to work. Murray is trying to salvage Obama’s legacy, such as it is

Mary Pistulka · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Craig Richins, do you really believe his”bizzaro world” cabinate is good thing? OMG…we have a Sec of education who wants to dismantle public education, a man in charge of the environment who is hell bent on destroying the environment in favor of big oil and chemical companies, a Sec of housing who has no experience in that area, an attorney general who is so racist it oozed out of his pores, a Nazi as chief advisor, a bunch of Goldman and Saccs wall street buddies, and in and on. The ONLY appointment he made that made any sense is the director of FEMA who has actually had experience in in the area to which he was appointed. It is blatantly clear that the man-boy playing at being president just wants to tear down everything decent in our country. As far as jobs being up…that is primarily still the effect of President Obama’s policies. In terms of his “great business acumen” #1, you cannot run a government/country like a business (two entirely different things with different purposes). And #2 he really hasn’t demonstrated that he is that good of a business man (he’s just really good at screwing people over). Every single day he lies or says something that is so false, so cruel, so dumb, or just plain rediculous that it is mind blowing. He is in this for himself, his family, and the other ultra rich folks and cares not a bit about the average American who he does not understand (except for believing enough of them are foolish enough to fall for his crap). I only hope we can survive until he is out if office (if he doesn’t get us blown to bits first).

Brandon Friend · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

It was already raising in premiums. I was paying near rent prices a month and a deductible that was outrageous. We need employers to take care of their employees and. Only subsidise small businesses. Government run health care won’t work, look at the V.A.

Mark Banks · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

So as we get this buffoon out of office we got to undo his bullshit and reestablish foreign relations and domestic stability he is a Russian spy trying to destroy America Not my President

Darleen Wooldridge · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

Trump is the devil, but also a wimp fights dirty cause he is weak, he has to attack the old the middle class he is old ugly bastard! Would never have had anything without his parents.

Robert Perrin · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

The Democrats sabotaged the ACA buy passing it the way they did. it was designed to fail so that they could rescue it with single payer. Donald Trump winning threw a monkey wrench into the works!

Vhictor Gomes · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

What about Bernie’s? Healthcare for all? That sounds way better. Btw, I love how this page pushes for the stablishment from time to time thinking ppl wont notice. Ahahah

Peter Conlin · October 31, 2017 at 6:42 pm

I understand that healthcare is complicated, but staying within the lines of doing the right thing for the people isn’t.
