Math problem. Almost three million people are without electricity. How long will it take two guys from Montana, working eight hours a day, to restore the power to the islands?

Humberto Martinez · October 31, 2017 at 4:40 pm

Yeah bc there’s no way a two-employee company so easily gets awarded a $300 million no-bid contract esp when they’ve only been in business for 2yrs*. It has scam & fraud written all over it.. *Correction 2 yrs in business!!

Jim Cotton · October 31, 2017 at 4:40 pm

A no bid contract issued to an almost non-existent company from a Trump official’s home town. Where the same officials son had connections. Yep, perfectly normal government contracting procedure. Lock them up.

Randy Sparling · October 31, 2017 at 4:40 pm

I hate articles like this you put the most important information in the last very short paragraph. Which makes me wonder why so little detail about the company?

Frank Combes · October 31, 2017 at 4:40 pm

Looks like Puerto Rico would rather break the contract with Whitefish and waste 300 million dollars, than have power restored? Strange.

Ruth Geary · October 31, 2017 at 4:40 pm

Should have never gotten to this point. Puerto Rico’s power grid was outdated and deteriorating for over a decade. Why didn’t Barack Hussein do anything?
