good thing we have pictures of him in a meeting with you guys and trump on tape naming him personally as an adviser and good guy. What happened to Trump’s best memory?

sp0rkah0lic · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I’m wondering what they say when it actually gets to Trump.

“Well, as you know, the President wasn’t really involved with the day to day operations of the campaign. He had a limited role. He spent most of his time supervising hat manufacturing, which you all know he did very well.”

Mr_Sharkey · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Is it any surprise that the cover-up is going to be run as incompetently as everything else these jackasses have done?

DJTHatesPuertoRicans · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Lordy, there’s tapes!

Here’s Donald Trump saying George Papadopoulos is a key foreign policy advisor and “an excellent guy”: https://youtu.be/j_80yJ_QqMA

ItsJustAJokeLol · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

[It’s fine guys, I found him](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DKXPU6BWAAAoNay.jpg)

bhat · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

This quote from [HotAir](https://hotair.com/archives/2017/10/30/george-papadopoulos-wear-wire-mueller/) is on the money:

> In hindsight it sure looks like word of Papadopoulos’s arrest in late July had gotten out somehow and someone from the campaign was doing preemptive damage control by leaking to WaPo. But how did campaign staff find out that Papadopoulos had been arrested? One logical possibility: He told them himself in the course of asking for “advice” from them on how to obstruct the investigation, which some of them may have provided. Suddenly those people woke up this morning and realized they’d had conversations with Papadopoulos recently about how to throw Mueller off the trail and only now do they realize he’s been in cahoots with Mueller for three months. Hoo boy.

Fatandmean · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Oh look a picture of him at the same table as Trump…well shit…um…he was unpaid?

GodRadioTv · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Look, I think it’s pretty obvious. Most Americans understand that President Trump was only involved in the campaign for a short time in an unpaid supervisory role… and, I think we’ve been pretty clear about that.

I think the real story is how come you guys aren’t talking about…

THE_KOCK_BROTHERS · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Trump: [I have never heard of this man pictured here sitting 4 feet away from me. I have the best memory.](https://media1.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2017_44/2207411/171030-trump-papadopolous-meeting-rs-117p_e99d1095697b255ee5633c495e98cea7.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000.jpg)

Also Trump: [I have never heard of this guy I am literally mentioning by name in this recording.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_80yJ_QqMA&feature=youtu.be)

yahyehyeah · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Does Trump only hire the best people!?

Why did Trump say such nice things about Manafort, a man that is charged with laundering millions of dollars?

Is that the company Trump supporters are proud of?

If you’re still a Trump supporter: what the fuck? Still?

Choooooch · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

SHS’ days are numbered. The USS SHS is headed for the ocean floor.

BreakGlitch · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I know everything out of their mouths is just theater for ‘their team’, but this is such a staggeringly stupid play. Jesus.

Rickleskilly · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

OK let me get this straight. A guy working for the Trump campaign goes off on his own to work out a deal to get EMAILS from Russians. Then Wiki leaks, a known Russian front, releases EMAILS, which Trump then uses against Hillary. And it’s all just a coincidence?

Sure Sarah.

NickDanger3di · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I only came here because the headline sounded fishy; we all know trump introduced Papadopolous as “a great guy”.

Silly me, Sanders really did it. In spite of trump having tweeted a photo of him sitting only a few feet from Papadopolous.

Fuck this administration.

jlaux · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Translation: they know exactly who he is.

I-walk · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Huckabee’s brother tried to boad a plane with a loaded gun in 2007, as an 18 year old boy scout he tortured and killed a stray dog. His father eventually fired the police chief who refused to not write a report about the incident.

Very classy family, the Huckabees!

orezinlv · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

The sad thing is, if the White House says pigs can fly, Trump’s sycophantic cult of a base will start calling liberals and moderates un-American for for not seeing all the pigs flying around.

They (at least pretend to) believe whatever Trump can dream up. Literally.

donald_trumpstupee · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

So please tell me Sarah fucking Huckabee Sanders can face criminal charges. I can not believe she has the guts to continue to lie to the nation like this.

TheGame81677 · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

They would deny knowing Mike Pence to save their asses lmao.

PM_Me_Ur_Doxxes · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Or you know, that one time when Trump went to Wapo offices, commented on how great the new building was, then said “oh, no, I can’t let you know about our foreign policy team.”

“Oh, wait, yeah, I can, hey guy, give me a list so I don’t get it wrong…. ok, Guy 1 is great, he’s this kind of guy. Guy 2 is George Popadopaoulus, he’s great, guy 3. We have the best people.”

Edit: I think I found it: https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2016/03/21/a-transcript-of-donald-trumps-meeting-with-the-washington-post-editorial-board/

Edit2: “George Popadopalous, He’s an oil and energy consultant, excellent guy”

jdcomix · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Derperlicious · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

it seems like most the perps in this story were “unpaid volunteers” but when your making millions laundering money for Russian oligarchs, the fact they were unpaid is a bit less interesting.

They have been using that phrase for so long now, i am thinking that not paying them was trumps idea to hide the crime. Back when they fired manafort for getting in the media over lying about his russian connections, they said the same verbiage. He was an “unpaid volunteer.”

2650_CPU · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Queue the file footage of Trump saying the words “George Papadopoulos”, and keep in mind trump has a really, really good memory.

JauntyOwlette · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

New President, who dis?

theredditforwork · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I’m so glad I read 1984

Axewhipe · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Never heard of Manafort

Never heard of Donald Trump Jr.

MBAMBA0 · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

OK – even with all that’s gone on thus far this is the first time I am simply stunned….STUNNED.

Four year olds come up with better alibis.

pedrosanta · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

“This Donald guy had a very limited role in the Pence campaign, he was basically a volunteer. And we had millions of volunteers.” – Huckabee Sanders probably.

GuestCartographer · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

At this point, everything that comes out of Huckabee-Sanders’ mouth is a blatant, bold-faced, easily fact checked lie. She is either incapable, or unwilling, to tell the truth. She is EXACTLY the person you would expect the unholy offspring of Mike Huckabee and Kim Davis to be. She isn’t a Press Secretary (she clearly doesn’t even want to be since she always asks someone else to do her job at the beginning of every briefing), she is a billboard for comically bad propoganda.

dicesoon · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

She’s like a 2017 version of Baghdad Bob all over again. This is going to be fun to watch.

Bischofski · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Love this article. Tried to be neutral and wanted to give both sides truth.

At first I was ok, maybe he was a little fish with little to do and some pushbacks…. But Trump named him…

But ok, Trump said excellent guy. Who was not an excellent guy for him.

Buuut he plead guilty for a big no no…..ok maybe he is a little fish. Young and caught up to something and wanted to cut of this past and move on….

And then you see a picture of him sitting beside Trump and his people.

Little fucking unknown fish…

windstrider13 · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Gaslighting on a national scale. This Administration doesn’t engage with reality; they deny it. The frightening thing is that Republican voters don’t care.

wakeupalice · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Eventually, when Trump is indicted: We’ve never even heard of Trump, we just come in to work every day and come up with bullshit talking points, we’ve never actually met the President, wait who is the President anyway? What about the Hillary emails though?

[deleted] · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

VibraPulse · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Fine. Let’s go with that; ‘He’s a volunteer’. Well, what position was he filling? What kind of clearance did he have? He’s not a 5 year old kid running around checking purses for candy. He’s a shiesty billionaire with blatant Russian connections. And shiesty Russian-friendly billionaires don’t ‘volunteer’.

snstrsnctyslckr · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Foreign policy adviser is a volunteer position?

ChuckFromPhilly · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I always heard trump had one of the all time great memories though

onwisconsin1 · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Well there is a picture of Trump in a meeting with Papadopoulos sooooooo.

LifeSage · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

You have to be a moron to believe this bullshit

mikeanikefest · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I’m sorry, but your face only gets to look like that if you spend all day cross eyed, sniffing someone’s ass.

I know it’s cheap. But you know, she/this admin is cheap.

burgoin · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

We have now, and we’ll probably not going to forget that name.

I_CARGO_200_RUSSIA · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

And former campaign chairman being arrested has nothing to do with the campaign! And no one questions that?

Ianisyodaddy · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Okay I hardheartedly know I’m reaching right now, but doesn’t Sarah Huckabee Sanders kinda look like a Trump illegitimate child?

Y_Y_why · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Hahahahahaha. This shit is just getting started. I love it!

IdiocracyAmerica2016 · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

No, you’re a towel.

xRememberTheCant · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

Remember when Trump wanted Obama impeached for incompetence? Well .. Trump is so incompetent that he let Russian agents into his own campaign “unknowingly”

Justagigjob · November 1, 2017 at 6:15 am

I’m pretty sure at this point they know they’re not convincing anyone other than Trump supporters. That’s all they’re aiming for.
