President Donald Trump Reportedly ‘Hellbent’ On Identifying Op-Ed Writer | Velshi & Ruhle | MSNBC

Janet A · September 8, 2018 at 2:43 pm

Trump on witch hunt for resister.

Albo Gonzales · September 8, 2018 at 2:46 pm

The election is over so why is Trump still campaigning? When does he work and do his job?

Fire Iscoming · September 8, 2018 at 2:58 pm

Trump doesn’t represent me. I work for a living. He represents the 1%, the elite. He’s a pretender, nothing more than that. He is in league with the Clintons, and other elitists. Just because he says he’s for the little people doesn’t make it true. He has been in elitist circles all his life. He works for their interests, not for people like me.

Gonzo Shitcock · September 8, 2018 at 3:06 pm

Funny how trump is so stupid he doesnt realize the op ed hasn't said anything that hasn't been said before, but to hear them all at once he finally realizes what people know and think about him. Its all been on the news before. Nothing new except trump just woke up to reality. Everybody else said those things. Op ed just put it all in one report.

Charles van der Hoog · September 8, 2018 at 3:16 pm

It has never occurred to Donald Trump that all this is his own doing. And it never will. Any person who cannot observe and learn, is doomed. So one can predict the future for Trump and his henchmen.

trexation · September 8, 2018 at 3:38 pm

Can't wait for this guy to kick the bucket. I know that is harsh but I would be glad If he died.

John Doe · September 8, 2018 at 3:40 pm

Trump the draft dodging dictator!!!

Herman Justice · September 8, 2018 at 3:44 pm

I got it trump should start
Drinking heavily.

Pensa Simpson · September 8, 2018 at 3:46 pm

Disrespectful man. Disreputable anti-American. Con-man. This whole administration looks like they have all stooped to DJT's 4th or 5th grade level of handling issues. What an embarrassing sham. All of them.

Chris Parnham · September 8, 2018 at 3:59 pm

LOl – all of Trump's staff thinks he a complete moron and a pathetic juvenile delinquent…

TheMrBennito · September 8, 2018 at 4:10 pm

mistercohaagen · September 8, 2018 at 4:26 pm

Looks like a WWF event at that rally. Hulk Hogan really let himself go, and probably bumped his head in a train crash.

Ish · September 8, 2018 at 4:29 pm

oh look, Fox news doing propaganda! Surprise surprise

jannmutube · September 8, 2018 at 4:31 pm

There's nothing in the op-ed that hasn't been said already by Rex Tillerson, in Bob Woodward's book, etc. The op-ed is a distraction from what's going on with the Kavanaugh documents that are being withheld and the challenge against Mueller's authority in the Russia investigation. It's not that hard to put 2 and 2 together if you examine the evidence:

Who is Bill Burck? Meet the former Bush attorney vetting Kavanaugh documents. .(vox)

The President of the United States of America Donald Trump, is becoming "unhinged", that someone (gramted, anonymously) had the "Balls", to finally, stand up to him, and called a "Spade a Spade"! This type of "Thinking on your own"/insubordination behavior, "Rattles", him to the core, and sets his "Toupee", on fire, and turns his face "Beet Red", then you add the Colin Kapernick/Nike ad, that his son Donald Jr., replaced Colin Kapernicks face, with his Dad's (Donald Sr.) face on the ad, might be enough to push our POTUS over the edge, as WH aides and staffers are fighting, and trying to prevent his hand, from "Pushing the Button"!!!

Verruca · September 8, 2018 at 4:40 pm

Interesting – This looks like it's going to keep Trump completely occupied for some time. It's taken his mind right off Mueller and Rosenstein. I'll bet he's forgotten about Manafort too.

Rebecca Treeseed · September 8, 2018 at 5:03 pm

TREASON in a Twitter scream is not "implied.". WTF?

maggie crinnion · September 8, 2018 at 5:03 pm

Who did it? It's PENCE!

Rebecca Treeseed · September 8, 2018 at 5:13 pm

Execute Ryan and McConnell for treason. Add in Grassley, Nunes, Gollum Gowdy.

Debora Williams · September 8, 2018 at 5:18 pm

So Donald Trump thinks that him conspiring with Russia to win his election for the office of the president is not treasonous, but to write a anonymous piece in the NYTimes criticizing him as incompetent is.

james spignesi · September 8, 2018 at 5:21 pm

Treason for Trump ANYONE that does not agree with me. John Kelly wrote it and over time will come forward.

krash kb · September 8, 2018 at 5:26 pm

Didn't the letter say, "people of the resistance among trumps administration"? So Trumps administration as a whole wrote the letter. They're not looking for a single person, instead the resistance of his own administration as a whole!

Ian Ritchie Stewart · September 8, 2018 at 5:29 pm

"Greatest Show on Earth"—– "Barking GANEWS" The list has now been narrowed down to just TWO possible TREASONIST candidates as the hunt for the Op-Ed author continues to dominate the news stream today! The culprit is suspected to be either John Miller or John Barron (AKA: Donald John Trump)! Beyond the element of DISTRACTION that has been provided by this charade, it has identified the extent to which the White House work environment has become an atmosphere of HOSTILITY and INTIMIDATION under this POTUS! Americans have the RIGHT to work in an environment FREE from the threat of HOSTILITY and that's NOT just an opinion! That's FACT!

It's Me Nordia! · September 8, 2018 at 5:38 pm

One word. Scandal!🤨🤨🤨🤨

Ricky Newport · September 8, 2018 at 5:45 pm

This president and fox news are Russian agent's. Someone needs to tell him about FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS.

Truth Never Lie · September 8, 2018 at 6:19 pm

The culprit who did it, is often the culprit who has the most to gain. Im leaning towards Pence and a snake would always have a fall guy to do the setup.

Helen Edmonds · September 8, 2018 at 6:20 pm

He probably sent it himself.

Curtis Slater · September 8, 2018 at 6:23 pm

TRUMP is a bad leader, bad father, bad husband, bad businessman, bad speaker, bad speller, and bad role model. He's a liar, fraud, bully, hypocrite, divider, grifter, and conman. He has no compassion, no empathy, no integrity, and no self-awareness. He's immature, shallow, selfish, petty, thin-skinned, incompetent, lazy, shifty, un-American, dictatorial, phony, delusional, untrustworthy, vindictive, ignorant, narcissistic, undiplomatic, and I bet his breath stinks too.

Gotekii 3 · September 8, 2018 at 6:27 pm

It was Mike pence. That's why he's been hiding. lol jk I don't know who it was.

Carol Asher · September 8, 2018 at 6:27 pm

If he was doing his job his staff wouldn't have to write to the Times

Gnirol Namlerf · September 8, 2018 at 6:36 pm

Yes, the president is supposed to protect national security, but this president never explains why criticism of him by a member of his administration has anything to do with national security, how banning all Muslims from entering the country has anything to do with national security, i.e. preventing another terrorist attack, and all the other things Mr. Price refers to. This is typical Trump: use the most vague and broad vocabulary to create an emotional response in his supporters and then refuse to explain in detail, but go on to the next subject. (Compare that style to Mr. Obama's speech at Urbana, IL today, in which he uses all the persuasive techniques he has at his disposal in Western logic and the English language.) That anyone in the country believes Pres. Trump just because he says something is true is shocking and disappointing. I mean, do these people automatically believe their bosses if they ask for a raise and the boss says, "Oh, sorry. I'd love to give you a raise, but the money just isn't there," or do they press the boss on why the money was there for the company VP to get a raise or at least let their co-workers know that the boss has got his/her shovel out again? Do Trump supporters just take the word of anyone who flatters them without asking for an explanation? I guess I don't because my parents never said to me as I was growing up, "You do it because I told you to do it." They always had an explanation or demonstration to convince me. I remember being told not to touch the stove as a little kid, maybe three years old. When I persisted in trying to reach up and do so, my mother didn't simply demand compliance or yell at me, she picked me up, turned on a burner, and slowly moved my little hand towards it until I shouted "Ow!" at which point she quickly removed it and told me, "That's why you are never to touch the stove." Of course, when I got old enough, tall enough, and dextrous enough, I learned how to boil eggs and cook other stuff just like other kids do, and wasn't afraid of the stove. Did the next generation of parents (mine would be close to 100 if they were alive) suddenly stop explaining or demonstrating and just say, "Believe me because I'm your mother/father," i.e. not because I'm right, because that's the way Trump supporters are acting. They believe him just because he's president (then why not Obama?) or because he's Trump. Unwise to do so in one's daily life (easy to get scammed by someone unscrupulous); unwise to do so in one's political choices (easy to get scammed by someone unscrupulous).

naomi everett · September 8, 2018 at 6:37 pm

There's no senior administrative official. This is a clever disguise by a smart clerk typist. Trust me. I know. A clerk typist goes quietly about his/her job and knows everything that's going on in the office. The good and the bad. On several occasions, I have seen what seems to be an insignificant typist bring down department heads. You would never suspect what he/she is doing, because you hear no dissent. After all, they are low wage and are presumed not to have an active brain. There is much power in the pen (keys).

Hey, Bozo! Freedom of speech is not treason!

Caspian Blue · September 8, 2018 at 6:50 pm

What a dysfunctional, narcissistic moron!!! There is no love in his WH, he does not know what love is. And as for treason, Trump needs to look in the mirror!! We have not forgotten 7/16 in Helsinki! To whomever the writer of the op-ed is, (my guess would be Paul Ryan), all I can say is, God bless and thank you!!!

Nicholas Flamel · September 8, 2018 at 6:56 pm

Holy crap that interview clip reminds me SO much of professional wrestling events. Its probably the same crowd.

Abhorrent Tyrant · September 8, 2018 at 6:58 pm

Bigoted Bigly Bully is “hellbent” on doing everything towards destroying America too..

Izzy LaCrosse · September 8, 2018 at 7:01 pm

To Trump, criticism is treason because he has an 'identity relationship' with the nation. Seriously, he believes he IS the U.S. so taking a knee during the anthem is a personal insult. He hugs the flag, almost wrapping up in it; to him it is an idol. It's a delusion. He is very, very sick, and was during the campaign, but it's much worse now as POTUS. His narcissism exploded. There's no coming back from it. Delusional and dangerous. He and the U.S. need help. Lord, hear our prayers.

mike Languein · September 8, 2018 at 7:25 pm

Disagreeing with the prez;
Trump calls it treason
Nixon called it blasphemy

Paul Tomlin · September 8, 2018 at 7:26 pm

The vendetta president! How far we have fallen! Smh

Skye Vonn · September 8, 2018 at 7:33 pm

This is a total WAG! The Trump administration released that Op-Ed to divert from the investigation, Woodward's' book, Kavanaugh, to throw more stones at the media and to strengthen support from his base by making him the victim. Listen to the Op-Ed language, how they talk about how strong Trump is on Russia. Think people.

Stoney Curtis · September 8, 2018 at 7:53 pm

What kind of interview is conducted over the PA?

Stoney Curtis · September 8, 2018 at 7:58 pm

Under dictatorships, speaking ill of the dear leader is considered 'treason' and often punishable by death.
