Kyle.. stop doing the voices. You make fantastic arguments, you don't need the voices.

Lohkyn · September 8, 2018 at 9:03 pm

Stuart Varney should be lit on fire, left to burn for a couple of minutes, and then pissed on.

QueSeraSera2010 · September 8, 2018 at 9:03 pm

Blame the media of course.

Leyla · September 8, 2018 at 9:03 pm

This is ridiculous what a horrible statement

M. Mitchell · September 8, 2018 at 9:04 pm

These republicans are funny as hell. Millionaires lying to common folks about the taxes. What I hear is vote for us we like our mansions and expensive cars.

Leadership matters .. same thing as bad things are bad and good things are good

Kieren Brown · September 8, 2018 at 9:04 pm

Steve Hilton is the Tory Cunt who brought us David Cameron. Sorry he is now injecting you with his fucking poison.

Robert Tully · September 8, 2018 at 9:04 pm

Who the fuck is this dude. Why the fuck are English assholes so interested in getting on our TV networks to spew this absolute bullshit.

QueSeraSera2010 · September 8, 2018 at 9:04 pm

This is a joke.

I got a yahoo finance alert today saying that the lower 10% of the economy may bring down the market because they are in such a fragile financial situation. Really? No shit Sherlock. We've been saying forever that we're struggling out here. Our wages are stagnant and costs keep skyrocketing. People used to own homes and if there was an emergency, they could take a 2nd on their homes but nobody owns homes anymore except for the top 10% in this country. We have no savings to fall back on. We have no pensions, retirement or investments. We were decimated by the 2008 crash and all the new wealth created went to the top. We have seen no recovery. We have been treading water for 10 years. Something has got to give. We are drowning.

I think you're using theory in the wrong way I'm pretty sure you mean hypothesis

QueSeraSera2010 · September 8, 2018 at 9:05 pm

That's just it, notice he said you can frighten them. They are fear-mongers that's it.

Ben Hiatt · September 8, 2018 at 9:05 pm

Even though I'm anti-violence (except in self-defense), that thumbnail of Varney makes me want to punch that smug asshole in the face so badly.

Jessica Roth · September 8, 2018 at 9:06 pm

Steve Hilton had it half right. People do vote for a vision of the future. But "Fear Nancy Pelosi" isn't that.

Still, it's better than Varney, who brilliantly says that the Repubs should try to convince people that they're doing better than they actually are.

Tammy has the sense to read the poll numbers and realize that people don't think the economy is actually doing well. But she blames the media, because people are too stupid to have their own opinions, I suppose.

And then Varney is "Let's Frighten Voters!" too. Again, didn't Hillary Clinton try to frighten voters away from Trump? How did that work out, again?

S J · September 8, 2018 at 9:08 pm

The media tells me I can't pay all my bills working one job. RIGHT! It's just media hype.

rahn45 · September 8, 2018 at 9:09 pm

Problem the Democrats face is a pretty simple one: Under Obama for 8 years people saw zero improvement in their lives. Zero, ziltch, nadda. That people are seeing some improvements in their lives (even if the rich get way more improvement) it will be enough for them to vote for Trump, because something is better than nothing; and nothing is all the DNC has offered people for the past decade.

One of Trump's lines during the election was "What do you have to lose?" and that's the damning thing of it all: He was right, and he's still right because the Democrats aren't offering anything aside from fear mongering and identity politics; with a side of primary rigging.
