Why are Republicans so fond of big corporate cash and corruption?

Leo g · September 8, 2018 at 9:25 pm

It's like a child discovering water turns to ice.

Zucchinna · September 8, 2018 at 9:26 pm

MSNBC is such a garbage inferno

Blackfoot Indian Bigfoot · September 8, 2018 at 9:26 pm

More than 60 million people voted for the most courput candidate since Tammy Hall in the last election, they voted for Hillary Clinton. They don't care about courpution. And in November they'll vote for candidates who want government control over the means of production. The democratic party is filled with communist.

"Somehow" will go down in Journalistic History

Lawrence McKeon · September 8, 2018 at 9:28 pm

The word "outspent" is a bullshit, corporate framed piece of linguistic sleight of hand, that has no real meaning. It depends on what the money is spent on, douchebag Vogel. Justice Democrats, spend your money on winning, and proving these corporate corrupt chumps wrong. The best is yet to come.

Panda Panda · September 8, 2018 at 9:28 pm

We don’t trust the government but let’s fund it more- the left

QuietMan · September 8, 2018 at 9:28 pm

The amazing thing is that I've had right-wingers tell me that "No, they're not beholden to those big money interests. They receive that money because they were for those policies to begin with."

These are the same people who jack themselves raw about how capitalism and the profit motive is the crux of human nature.

Echo The Cat · September 8, 2018 at 9:28 pm

We need a convincing sheep in wolves clothing. Suck up the big bucks then pull off the corporate mask and say f*** you I'm for the people. Would be nice for a change.

Dradeeus · September 8, 2018 at 9:29 pm

To believe they are not being corrupted, you'd have to believe that all the largest corporations in the US just so happen to WAY more into politics than the normal person, where they all give huge amounts of money in donations (that, by the way, their entire chairman board agrees with) and do not expect any favors in return.

donHooligan · September 8, 2018 at 9:29 pm

Tell them we also want our taxes to benefit US, and they might just drop dead.

Fintan · September 8, 2018 at 9:31 pm

He says "somehow beholden to major donors" like it's not true. What a douchebag

Sean · September 8, 2018 at 9:31 pm

What fucking tard is donating money to the nrcc or the DCCC?

Oh… Right picture. No actual person is doing it… It's corporate fucking interests.

Pyroman / · September 8, 2018 at 9:33 pm

Whattttt people don't want dark money corrupting their politicians ? That's weird you would think they would want there politicians to be bought by corporations and major muli millonaires and billionaires donors

David Richardson · September 8, 2018 at 9:36 pm

It was called "stating the obvious" because it was implied that everyone was aware of and recognized what would be considered obvious and that one only "states the obvious" to make it explicitly clear that they are aware of and recognize it as such.

Now, "stating the obvious" has lost its meaning and has, in all likelihood, fundamentally changed. It has gone the way of "special," where people used to say something like, "That's a very special talent your kid has. I wish mine had something like it," and now they say things like, "I'm sorry my son ate you shoe. He's a little bit special."

sprybug · September 8, 2018 at 9:38 pm

Thanks MSNBC, you're about 4 decades too late!

nature freak · September 8, 2018 at 9:38 pm

You mean Democratic voters in New Jersey have finally had a change of heart? Wow!

Namoth · September 8, 2018 at 9:39 pm

The louder the corupted compete to scream..the more bright firework they compete to blind with ,the lees they see..the lees they hear….
how the masses loaths them….
how the educated despices them…
how ther wealth withers and dies in the scorched land left in ther wake….
I weep for the world and hoppe grass rott LEGION will reign victorious leaving the degenerate to wither away in ther own ash ,but seeing the farse that is goverment in all 'super nations' and the rampart industrial destruction and arms races…the cold reflection of history gripp's my heart and I become…concerned…

dcon9995 · September 8, 2018 at 9:39 pm

I just can't fking wait until we vote out that piece of shit Cuck Schumer and Nancy "The Wretch" Pelosi and put in true dems.

sprybug · September 8, 2018 at 9:39 pm

Yeah, it's like a big duh. However, as much as I dislike Joy, AM Joy actually did a great piece on the progressive rise recently. Was hoping Kyle would cover it to give them credit where it's due. I was shocked. It was like, where the fuck was this years ago?

The Alternative Facts Show · September 8, 2018 at 9:40 pm

Geez people don’t want corrupt politicians, what a shocker

Michael Alexander · September 8, 2018 at 9:44 pm

I wonder if the hair and makeup person that worked on the guy on the left left his hair like that as a f*ck you to his Corp Dem message.

H Eck · September 8, 2018 at 9:44 pm

The cock brothers

Dylan Holt · September 8, 2018 at 9:45 pm

MSNBC SHOCKED That Dem Voters Want Oxymoron

RisingRedTide · September 8, 2018 at 9:46 pm

"You're taking large money and are somehow beholden…" No, the corporations just spend millions on bribes and lobbying because they are nice people, they are not expecting anything in return. That guy needs reeducation with a crowbar.

Liberal Rod · September 8, 2018 at 9:46 pm

Secular Talk, to keep SANE people off MSM.

Zukka 88 · September 8, 2018 at 9:47 pm

MainStream Nightly Biased Crap. It's not buying the same things (by things I think they mean policies) because progressives can't be bought.

Roma X · September 8, 2018 at 9:50 pm

wut??? water is wet? what a shocking news

CosmicMapping · September 8, 2018 at 9:50 pm

Corporate HACKS.

ICE man · September 8, 2018 at 9:50 pm

Voters shaming the candidate is really the only way to keep money out of politics. “Citizens United”decision, is just as concrete in this country as “Roe vs. Wade”.

Steven Baumann · September 8, 2018 at 9:51 pm

msnbc is no better than fox

Bytefiend · September 8, 2018 at 9:52 pm

It's hard to actually figure out what you SHOULD do to help your voters. It's easy to let 1 or 2 huge corporate CEOs tell you what to do instead. The pay is drastically better but the prison time is supposed to offset that but apparently they gave up on prosecuting corruption back in the 80s.

Shadow X · September 8, 2018 at 9:55 pm

Anyone who thinks politicians, regardless of their party affiliation, are in any way, shape, or form trustworthy and concerned for the well-being of all Americans, needs to stop reading this, call 911 and have themselves immediately committed to a psychiatric facility, because they definitely delusional and bat shit crazy.

Estivel Garcia · September 8, 2018 at 9:56 pm

And you wanna know what I hate the most? When right wingers calls the media "liberal and leftists". They're NOT. These people are on the side of MONEY! They don't give a crap whether you're liberal or conservative. They only care about corporate interest.

Rudy Milman · September 8, 2018 at 9:58 pm

Those pundits are not naive. They're just smug idiots.

itsmebatman · September 8, 2018 at 9:58 pm

There is no naivety. These people are on the same pay roll. Companies like Exon don't just bribe the politicians. They also pay stations like MSNBC to shill in their favor. The only naivety would be to think that there are any actual journalists working there.

Carter Kinoy · September 8, 2018 at 9:59 pm

If you think about it, the fact that Progressives are winning while refusing PAC money should at least indicate to the Corpocrats that they’re overspending on campaigns.
