The Very Stable Genius-In-Chief has a great idea to take on the “national security” NYT op-ed. Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Joel Stein, and Nomi Prins hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. Become a TYT member at:

Read more here:

“Speaking to reporters, Trump warned of a national security imperative to unmasking and punishing the person responsible for the New York Times piece depicting a ‘two-track presidency’ in which some top staffers make up a ‘resistance’ force working to thwart Trump’s ‘misguided impulses.’

‘We’re going to take a look at what he had, what he gave, what he’s talking about, also where he is right now,’ Trump said during a flight from Billings, Mont., to Fargo, N.D., on a fundraising trip for Republican candidates. If the anonymous author has a high-level security clearance, the president emphasized, ‘and he goes into a high-level meeting concerning China or Russia or North Korea or something, I don’t want him in those meetings.’”

Everyone knows that a well-oiled machine leaks like a sieve. Duh. Also, he's referring to a bunch of unctuous sleazy greaseball crooks. Even with the loss of scaramucci they are still oozing from every pore and crevice. Well-oiled indeed.

bite me · September 8, 2018 at 10:13 am

It's one of two things. The new york times just wrote op Ed to troll president bone spurs. Or the commander in queef had someone write it to stop talking about the new book

wizzzer1337 · September 8, 2018 at 10:14 am

Plot twist:

It's Trump himself, he just wants out!

Kasey Jernigan · September 8, 2018 at 10:16 am

i said kellyann's husband on another's kellyann or her husband, but do not count Nikki out.

Bryan Hawley · September 8, 2018 at 10:34 am

Unfortunately isn’t he right? If you take something of a the desk of a (and I use the term loosely) president so he can’t sign it…?

QuantumWrench · September 8, 2018 at 10:37 am

Well oiled machine?  There's an awful lot of sand in the oil, who's doing that?

An image of this 'machine' comes to mind … think of a jack-in-the-box, doot-da-doot-da-doodly-doot (pop goes the weasel), cranking away. What is going to come out? Horrors, nothing but horrors.

The internal resistance fighters are taking action. These fighters are leaking and publishing information. Ok, why?
BECAUSE no one else is doing anything. The VP and cabinet are mute about this. Congress (e-hem, gop) is implicitly supporting this action for their own selfish reasons, they are complicit by enabling the president. The resistance fighters are stepping into the breach to stop some of the dangerous incompetence from president dotard. Why do they have to take these foolish risks? BECAUSE the elected officials who are responsible and obligated to check and remedy these issues are intentionally delinquent in their sworn duty to protect and uphold the constitution.

Think of this analogy.
Your home is on fire. The fire department decided to not come out for you. All your neighbors pitch in an attempt to save your home or minimize the damage. It's not your neighbor's job to put out house fires, they risk exposure to injury to help their community member at their own peril. The neighborhood effort may fail, all your possessions are scorched and your home is ash.
Got it? The legal mechanisms in the constitution are left unused while the unqualified individuals are desperately taking risks to keep some very bad decisions to come to action. It is wrong and improper to operate the federal government like this. The president is unqualified, uneducated, unstable, and unfit to serve the public interest in any manner. These are desperate times.

no wonder melania is still with him and not sleeping with him. all she says is "hey baby tonight.." he can't remember whether he got some last night ir not,so all she has to say is "don't you remember?". trump's response would be, yeah, yeah, yeah, because he is so egotistical he thinks he is a stud and he satisfied her to the fullest even though he gave her nothing in bed. #45 is a mess.

Typical politician, seeks to excuse anything and everything as “national security”.

oakpkdude · September 8, 2018 at 10:55 am

Trump doesnt need booze to act all f……d up. That's why he doesn't drink. Imagine Trump with a couple drinks in him. He'd order CNN and msnbc nuked.

Lady Of Games · September 8, 2018 at 10:59 am

I feel like it's Kellyanne as well because of this line from the OpEd.

"Some of his aides have been cast as villains by the media. But in private, they have gone to great lengths to keep bad decisions contained to the West Wing, though they are clearly not always successful."

The whole oped is self serving and this line makes me think of someone trying to make excuses for themselves. Kellyanne is just craven enough to take this entire approach. Say a bunch of words, not take any action and the entire time convince yourself you're a hero.

lark6spur · September 8, 2018 at 11:01 am

Why do these females have to wear such low cut tops exposing the top of their breasts???

Sherwin Lui · September 8, 2018 at 11:02 am

Didn't Trump say he is smart? Why does Trump need the DOJ to research the reporter? Why doesn't he investigate himself? Does he know even know how to do that?

lark6spur · September 8, 2018 at 11:02 am

Asshole sounds whacked out!!!

tom nickerson · September 8, 2018 at 11:08 am

It is simple nobody wrote the op-ed it was just fake news once again from the NYT.

Heath Fletcher · September 8, 2018 at 11:10 am

Ha, Ha Trump said what the op-ed writer said is fake and yet he is freaking out about it.
